Orange Shirt Day 2
September 30th is the National Day of Remembrance of Indigenous Boarding Schools, or Orange Shirt Day.
On this day we wear orange shirts as a sign of solidarity, to bring attention to the damage the residential school system did to Indigenous children, lifeways, and cultures. We gather to remember ansestors and celebrate native resiliance.
