In The Studio

I’ve had more time in the studio this past year. Which has been beautiful. Time to follow ideas, explore materials, listen to new music, and visit with friends.

I’d love to mail you something. Check out the shop and see if something moves you.

Cheers,

Places of Work

On Sunday mornings some dear friends would go dancing in San Francisco. They referred to it as church. Their church. This struck me as a beautiful and radical reframing of what such places can be. I would go on to identify other earlier zones from childhood–primarily the forests of the Adirondack Mountains and then the mighty Lake Ontario–as places just as likely for transcendence as an uncomfortable pew. I’m thankful to for all my creative work spaces. And to all the teachers. This is the place I am happiest, and that is why I do it.

Studio visits.
Please come to Glen Ellen. I’ll make you a great pot of tea.

West Coast Craft

I participated in San Francisco’s West Coast Craft this past autumn. It was a ton of work and fun. Sooooooo many people came through! Feeling thankful for the conversations with those folx who connected with my vibe and to the ceramics that found a new home.
